City girl? Or country girl?

Thank you for sharing your pastel rainbows with us last week. We enjoyed your creations a lot!

This week let’s get to know each other a little bit better 😉 and let me ask the curious question:
Are you a city girl? Or a country girl?

What do you like about (living in) the city or the country?
Neon lights, public transport, lots of people, high buildings and a diverse nightlife make you happy?
Or do you need nature, calm, being outside and maybe having your own piece of „green“?

Here are the Design Teams‘ cards. I think you can see at the first glance who are the city and the country girls.

Let’s celebrate our life, no matter where we live or where we would like to live!
Happy crafting!

Pastel Rainbow

 Hello Lovely Crafters!

Thank you so much for joining in with us last week, it was lovely to see the way you used your chosen elements from Leo's picture

This week it's Sharon's turn to set the new challenge and it's got absolutely nothing to do with the strong reds, yellows and oranges of Autumn, but it is colour-based.
Pastel Rainbow
I would love to see a beautiful rainbow on your cards this time - but made from pastel colours.

Check out this soft and pretty array of pastel rainbow shades on the Team's cards for inspiration!

Looking forward to seeing what you make.

October's Elemental Inspiration

Hello there Crafters!

We are back with a new challenge for you - but we always like to say "Thank You" first to those who joined in with us last week.  We hope you enjoyed giving thanks with Shabneez's lovely "Harvest Home" theme - those cards were good enough to eat, weren't they?

As usual our first challenge of the month is our Elemental Inspiration Challenge.  For October Leo has put together a little mood board for you and we hope you'll find plenty of inspiration to draw your three elements from.

Just pick at least 3 elements from the picture to use when making your card

suggestions; Dark nights, the moon, washi tape, Kraft card, stripes,

Here is what the team made this week. animals, strawberries

Harvest Home

Happy Friday!

It's Shabneez here, bringing you a challenge full of delicious and more importantly, healthy food!  Before we begin I'd like to thank those of you that joined in with the challenge last week - it's lovely to see your take on the challenges.

The challenge this week is entitled
 'Harvest Home'
as it's the time of the year when fruit, vegetables and grain are often harvested and taken home.
I'd like to see any fruit, vegetable and/or grain featured on your cards.

Here is some inspiration to get you going from the Design Team:

Queen for a Day

Good Morning Crafters!

First of all a huge “thank you” to everyone who played along with Dawn’s 4-themed challenge. It was great to see so many of you joining in!

But now for something completely different…

On September 22nd of 1515 Anne of Cleves was born, 4th wife of King Henry VIII and Queen of England – not for a day but for just over 6 month. But, hey, I think she’s the only Queen referring to my hometown Kleve and she managed to keep her head on her shoulders! Therefore the theme I chose for you this Friday is…

Queen for a Day!

Let’s all celebrate Anne’s 502nd birthday with some royalty themed cards. (And, yes, of course… fairy queens and frog princes are allowed to the party, too.)

Just take a look at the Design Team’s creations first and then… have fun!

4 Of Something

Hello Crafters.

Thank you to everyone that played along in last weeks challenge from Joanne to celebrate International Literacy Day.

Its Dawn here with this weeks challenge and I have decided to call it.

4 Of Something

I celebrate the big 40 yesterday and today is our wedding anniversary so this weeks challenge is to put 4 of something on your card.

Lets forgot the zero as I intend on staying 39 for every birthday from now on.

So you could include 4 designer papers, 4 embellishments or the number 4.

Hope you will join in and here is what that Design Team came up with.

International Literacy Day

Hello, Joanne here today.  Thanks for playing along with us last week - wasn't Kathy's mood board pretty?

Today is International Literacy Day according to UNESCO. I've always been a reader and can't imagine life without a book on the go.  So, let's celebrate the joy of the written word - your card could feature images of books, a favourite literary character or quotation, a portrait of an author, you could acknowledge a special teacher... where will your imagination take you?

Here's what the design team came up with.
