This Little Light of Mine

Thank you if you joined in with Beckie's Christmas Film quote cardmaking last week.
This week it's the final dare of 2013 as we're taking a couple of weeks off over Christmas,
Can you believe we're heading for another new year already? It's been an amazing 2013 of Daring Cardmaking and we'll be back for more in 2014!

For the last dare of 2013 we have. for you....

'This Little Light of Mine'

Lights are always associated with Christmas - candles, stars, fairy lights - and those "tiered" candle holders from Scandinavia which I can't remember the name of - I'm sure someone will let us know.....
So please use any sort of light associated with the Christmas Season on your cards - and you have an extra long time to join in with us this time!

We'll be back on January 10th to start another year of cardmaking challenges, and we hope you'll be back too - so now it only remains for us to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a happy New Year from the all of us here at the Daring Cardmakers
Have fun!

Christmas Movie Quote

Good morning everyone!  Thanks so much to those who joined in the last weeks colour dare set by Zuzana, weren't they such pretty colours!?

Beckie here today with my dare for you .....

'The best way to spread Christmas Cheer, is singing loud for all to hear.'

I love the movie Elf and this has to be one the best sayings from the movie! So this week I am challenging you to use a quote from your favourite Christmas movie on your card.  I may have taken my love of Elf a little too far with my card!  LOL!!

Here are the DT's inspiration for you sharing their quote from their favourite movie .... I wonder if you can guess which movies they are from?

December Colours

Thank you for joining in Leo's Going for Gold challenge. Your cards were beautiful!
Hello everyone it's Zuzana here.
I remember when I was little my mum bought a huge pack of sunflower seeds every December. We built a wooden bird house, filled it with the seeds and hung it on a tree by our living room. Each day we'd wait by the window for cute blue-tits to come.
When I came across this picture it refreshed my memory. The cosiness of our warm home, a winter wonderland with snow outside and watching for blue-tits!
Now! I dare you to create a card with these peaceful,

December Colours

Sky Blue, Agate Blue, Greenish Gray, Canary Yellow and Tan

Here is what the team has made
