Mellow Yellow

Hi everyone!

It's Nat here, bringing you this week's new dare!

First of all thanks to everyone who played along with our Childhood (book) heroes dare last week!

In an effort to spread a little sunny cheer in the cardmaking world this week we're focussing on a much underused colour in crafting - granted it can be a tricky one to match with other colours, but the focus this week is all on the colour:

YELLOW!

You can combine it with neutral shades of white, grey, cream, and black - but the predominant colour on your card must be yellow.

Here are the fantastic projects the design team came up with.

My first Daring Cardmakers challenge, and you chose yellow! That really was a challenge for me because it's the last colour I'd choose for a card. But, I did it. The designer's cards are great too - a real spectrum of styles :)

Hi, can you tell me where to find any winner's posts please? Will they be in here or are they published somewhere else? Thanks for the great challenges. Vikki

In answer to Vikki's question:
We don't have winners or losers on the DCM. Our blog header says Create, Inspire and Share and we've always tried to encourage and be inclusive of all card makers - we hope that our challenges inspire and interest everyone whether they are beginners or experts.

Occasionally we offer prizes - but they are always "awarded" on a random basis so that everyone who joins in has the same chance to win

Thanks so much for hosting this challenge. Yellow is not a "normal" color for me but I had a blast using it for my card! =) Thanks for a real challenge blog!
